Mass Save's Heat Pump Water Heaters page lists 2026 rebates for residents replacing an existing electric, propane, natural gas, or oil water heater: $750 for an ENERGY STAR heat pump water heater, $750 for a 120-volt/15-amp heat pump water heater, and $1,500 for a split-system heat pump water heater, subject to sponsor, account, licensed plumber, installation-date, equipment, and documentation requirements.
