Privacy Notice
HomeReq is an informational planning tool for home permit and energy incentive research. This notice describes how the checker experience handles broad location inputs, project searches, advertising cookies, and support contact requests.
Checker Inputs
HomeReq is designed not to persist a full street address by default. Checker search events may store city, state, ZIP prefix, and project type so the site can understand broad coverage gaps and improve result quality. Full street address persistence is not part of the default design.
A ZIP code alone is not treated as a final jurisdiction because permit authority may vary by city, county, or unincorporated area.
Advertising Cookies
HomeReq may use Google AdSense or similar advertising services to show ads. Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other websites.
These technologies can support personalized ads, frequency capping, ad measurement, fraud prevention, and reporting. Users can learn about and manage Google ad personalization through Google Ads Settings. Users can also learn more about third-party advertising choices at aboutads.info.
Current Limits
HomeReq uses conservative public-data and address-handling defaults. Additional operating details, including the operating legal entity, retention periods, analytics vendors, vendor subprocessors, and consumer privacy request procedures, may be expanded as the service matures.
Privacy questions can be sent to the HomeReq support contact at [email protected].
