The Residential Repair Permit Application asks for windows being replaced and doors added or openings modified, while noting no permit is required for broken-glass replacement or like-for-like door replacement. The City's No Permit Required List also says broken-glass window repair and replacement of existing doors typically do not require a permit, with historic, neighborhood conservation, or corridor district restrictions still possible.
