DOB solar work permit and electrical permit for building-connected solar

NYC DOB says permits are required for the installation of all building-connected solar energy systems, and its solar owner requirements say no solar work can be performed without a work permit, licensed contractor, or registered design professional except solar landscape lights. Solar PV projects must also file an ED16A electrical permit application, and structural support must be reviewed by a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect.
