Electrical permit check for panel, service, or wiring changes

Miami-Dade County says an electrical permit is required for electrical work, while City of Miami's Easy Permit page lists limited electrical easy permits such as residential service repair and small electrical work. Electrical panel replacement, service repair, service upgrade, breaker work, or wiring changes should be checked with City of Miami because simple listed work may fit an easy permit, but larger panel or service changes may need the regular electrical permit path, utility coordination, and inspections.
